Folded by me from one uncut ~50cm x 50cm hexagon sheet of paper.
This is a smiple tessellation made from a basic combination of triangular twists and rhombuses. For this model, I used wenzhou + tissue paper, dyed with sheen ink. I’m still testing different ways to dye paper, and I really liked how this one turned out — it looks like autumn leaves. It’s not perfect, but the result is good.
